Daniel Brocklebank (born December 21, 1979) is a British actor known primarily for his role as Billy Mayhew in the long-running ITV soap opera, Coronation Street.
Before joining Coronation Street in 2014, he had a number of roles in both television and film, including parts in Shakespeare in Love, The Hole, and Merseybeat.
Brocklebank is openly gay and has spoken publicly about his experiences as a gay actor in the industry. His character, Billy Mayhew, is also gay, and the portrayal of his relationships has been praised for its representation.
